To promote a fun and engaging experience for fans attending the tournament, the 2020 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament will feature a new, fan-friendly area located on the event level at the north end of Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Free of charge for those attending the tournament, the Big Ten Fan Fun Zone will include a DJ, a poster making station, games, and more. The Big Ten Fan Fun Zone will be open to fans of all ages during pregame and halftime only.

The Big Ten Conference, in partnership with the Horizon League and Indiana Sports Corp, will host the first Sports Officials Symposium, which aims to address the shortage of officials in all sports at the grade school and high school levels. This event is open to all those who currently have connections to youth and high school athletics, as well as aspiring and entry level officials, fans and parents. Among the featured topics will be the recruitment and treatment of officials, earnings potential and opportunities for career advancement. Click here to learn more and to register for the symposium.
Big Ten STEM Junior Reporter Program • Wednesday, March 4 – Sunday, March 8 • Registration Required
For the third consecutive year, the Big Ten Conference and Indiana Sports Corp are partnering with Codelicious, an Indianapolis-based computer science curriculum program that focuses on coding and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). The Codelicious Confidence Builders Series selects three local elementary or middle school students who are interested in studying STEM to conduct interviews with Big Ten women’s basketball students who are STEM majors. The goal of the program is to help create experiences for young students to display their confidence in achieving personal goals. Middle School Curriculum Program • Friday, March 6
The Middle School Curriculum program is one that pairs Indianapolis-area middle schools with Big Ten teams to promote Big Ten Women’s Basketball. Classrooms across Indianapolis will follow their respective Big Ten teams throughout the season, incorporating the team into their curriculum and corresponding with the students and coaches at these institutions via e-mails and letters. The middle school students will also be invited to attend Friday's quarterfinal games at the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament.
Inspiring Sports Women in Leadership Event • Friday, March 6 • Pacers Square at Bankers Life Fieldhouse • 10 a.m.-Noon (ET) • Ticketed Event
Marking the second year of this unique event, the Big Ten Conference and Indiana Sports Corp will host a panel discussion featuring a group of inspiring female leaders coming together to share their professional journeys, successes and challenges faced. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with various female-focused organizations and receive information on how they can continue to be a part of the conversation even after the event is over. The event ticket will include lunch and admission to Friday afternoon's quarterfinals (Session 4) at the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament. Find your center at center court at the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Big Ten Conference and Indiana Sports Corp are partnering with Invoke Studio to host a 45-minute yoga class at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Tickets for this event will also include a game ticket to the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament semifinals beginning at 6:30 p.m. (ET) on Saturday. Big Ten Junior Journalism Program and Workshop • Saturday, March 7 • Bankers Life Fieldhouse • 3:30-9 p.m. (ET) • Registration Required
In its second year, the Big Ten Conference and Indiana Sports Corp will select 14 students to participate in the Big Ten Junior Journalism Program and Workshop to see what it is really like to be a sports journalist. Once selected, students will be paired with one Big Ten school and be tasked with writing an article featuring the assigned University’s women’s basketball team. Each student will also have the opportunity to attend a journalism workshop on "Semifinal Saturday" at the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament. The Workshop will include a panel discussion with professional media members, a behind-the-scenes tour of Bankers Life Fieldhouse and the Big Ten Network television compound, a Q&A session with BTN broadcasters and producers, a press credential to attend Saturday's semifinal games and the chance to attend the postgame press conferences and ask questions of the participating Big Ten coaches and students.
Girls Basketball Clinic • Sunday, March 8 • Main Court/Practice Court at Bankers Life Fieldhouse • 2:30-4:30 p.m. (ET) • Registration Required
The Big Ten Conference and Indiana Sports Corp will host a free girls’ basketball clinic on Championship Sunday for 100 students in grades 1-8. The clinic will take place on both the practice court and main court at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and participants will receive a clinic t-shirt, a complimentary ticket to Sunday’s Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament championship game, an opportunity to welcome the two teams as they enter the facility, and a coupon for a free snack and drink at the concession stand. Championship Pep Rally • Sunday, March 8 • Entry Pavilion at Bankers Life Fieldhouse • 5 p.m. (ET)
The Big Ten Conference and Indiana Sports Corp will host a Championship Game Pep Rally for the two institutions that advance to Sunday's Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament championship game. The pep rally is free of charge to fans of all ages and will be held in the Entry Pavilion of Bankers Life Fieldhouse. It will include a "battle of the bands", as well as performances by the participating schools' cheer teams and mascots.
