2020 Men's Big Ten Tournament Ancillary Events

Saturday Party • Saturday, March 14 • Ticketed Event • 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Union Station
Indiana Sports Corp will host the Saturday Party in downtown Indianapolis at Union Station. The Saturday Party features complimentary food and beverage including tastings from local breweries/wineries/distilleries, live music, and performances by the bands and cheer teams participating in the Tournament Semifinals. A ticket is required.
Free Throw Competition • Saturday, March 14 • 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Four schools in Indianapolis will be chosen to participate in the Free Throw Shootout. The schools will have an inter-school competition and four winners from each school will be selected to attend the final shootout at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The finalists selected by each school will consist of one boy and one girl from the 5th grade and one boy and one girl from the 6th grade. Each contestant will be allowed to bring a chaperone with them to Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Boys Basketball Clinic • Sunday, March 15 • Irsay Family YMCA • 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The Big Ten Conference and Indiana Sports Corp will host a free boys’ basketball clinic on Championship Sunday for 150 students grade 6th and under. Participants will receive a clinic t-shirt. Pre-registration for the clinic is required. The clinic will take place at the Irsay Family YMCA in downtown Indianapolis.
Championship Sunday Pep Rally • Sunday, March 15 • Ober Lot • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Men’s basketball fans are invited to come downtown early and prepare for the championship game outside Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The programming will include band and cheer and drumline performances, and much more.
Big Ten Circuit on the Circle • Saturday, March 14 • Ticketed Event • 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
The Big Ten and Indiana Sports Corp in partnership with the November Project and Shred415 Fitness will host an outdoor circuit workout on Monument Circle. The event is ticketed and is open to all ages. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Big Ten teams gear.
Halftime Youth Basketball Game • Wednesday, March 11 (Game 1) • Halftime
The conference will sell the opportunity for two participating youth basketball teams to take the floor for a 5-minute basketball game during halftime of Game 1. The minimum requirement of tickets purchased in order to secure the performance is 50 (single session tickets).
Wayne Duke Postgrad Scholarship • Saturday, March 14 • Halftime Recognition
The Wayne Duke Postgrad Scholarship Award is an annual scholarship recognizing one male and one female Big Ten senior student-athlete pursuing a postgraduate degree for achievements in academics, athletics, civic service, and leadership. Each Big Ten institution may nominate one male and one female student-athlete. For 2020, each award is $10,000. The Conference will invite the scholarship award winners to Indianapolis to attend the semifinal games and be recognized during halftime.
Disabled American Veterans (DAV) • Sunday, March 15 • Halftime Recognition
The Conference will invite local Indianapolis DAV members and their guests to attend the Championship Game. During halftime the group will be recognized and honored on court for their service.
