A Partnership Between Gleaners Food Bank and Indiana Sports Corp
On December 4, Indianapolis will host the 2021 Big Ten Football Championship Game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Indiana Sports Corp has developed multiple programs to engage fans and residents surrounding the game and throughout the community. New this year, ISC will partner with Gleaners Food Bank for “Football Feeding Families.”
Since 1980, Gleaners Food Bank has developed programs and formed partnerships designed to lead the fight against hunger in central Indiana. During Football Feeding Families, Gleaners and Indiana Sports Corp will host a Virtual Food Drive which feeds more people more efficiently.
The campaign will launch on Monday, November 29 – the beginning of Championship Week. Individuals or companies can donate to the East or West Division teams as they face off in raising the most amount of funds for Central Indiana families in need.
In addition, Gleaners will be taking donations in person at the Friday Pregame: Georgia Street Block Party on December 3, 4-7:30 PM and in the Convention Center on Saturday, December 4, 10 AM-noon. Although the Friday Pregame is free, fans can donate and receive great prizes, while being entered to win two tickets to the Big Ten Football Championship Game. Winners will be announced at the Pregame event.
