USATF Half Marathon Championships

The 500 Festival and Indiana Sports Corp will play host to the 2022 USA Track & Field Half Marathon Championships on May 7, 2022 in conjunction with the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon. The race marks the first time the event will be held in Indianapolis.

The USATF Half Marathon Championships are a key stop on the USATF Running Circuit – a series of road races from one mile to the marathon, which provides American distance runners competitive opportunities and upwards of $500,000 in total prize money. With a mission to showcase, support, and promote U.S. runners since its inception in 1995, the USATF Running Circuit consistently attracts the country’s finest and fastest on the road.Awards & Prize Money

USATF Championship medals, OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon medals, and USATF Running Circuit points will be awarded to the top 10 men’s and women’s finishers. Prize money will be as follows for each of the genders:

• 1st place: $7,000

• 2nd place: $3,500

• 3rd place: $2,500

• 4th place: $1,800

• 5th place: $1,200

• 6th place: $1,000

• 7th place: $900

• 8th place: $800

• 9th place: $700

• 10th place: $600

 The total prize purse per gender will be $20,000.
