INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Sports Corp announced this week that Dan Gliot has joined the staff as Senior Director of Marketing & Communications. Gliot comes to Indiana Sports Corp after spending the last five years at the Horizon League.
Gliot will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and executing all Indiana Sports Corp communication strategies. In addition, Gliot will serve as Indiana Sports Corp’s primary spokesperson and media contact. Gliot joins the organization as it approaches 2024, where the NBA All-Star Weekend, National Invitational Tournament (NIT), NCAA DI Men’s Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds, and the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming will all held in the first six months of the year. While at the Horizon League, Gliot most recently served as Assistant Commissioner of Messaging and Branding. In this role, he managed all aspects of the organization's branding, including strategic communications, media relations, and marketing efforts. Gliot oversaw substantial growth to the Horizon League website and social media channels.
