COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Swimming, the national governing body (NGB) for the sport of swimming in the United States, today announced OneAmerica Financial and Indiana University Health as the first to sign on as Centennial Partners in support of the NGB at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming.

The U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming, to be held June 15-23 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, is the only qualifying meet to name the 2024 Olympic Team heading to Paris in July. To produce a swim meet of this magnitude, USA Swimming and the Indiana Sports Corporation rely on local businesses to offer financial and operational assistance. Becoming a Centennial Partner allows corporations to activate a global event locally. The term Centennial Partner harkens back to the 1924 Olympic Trials in Indianapolis, when that Olympic team traveled to Paris. One century later, the Olympic team will again be named in Indianapolis and sent to Paris.

"We are lucky to have organizations like OneAmerica Financial and IU Health support us this summer, " said Tim Hinchey, USA Swimming CEO and President. "These are two extremely well-respected and important businesses that have shown their dedication to the athletes, coaches, volunteers, parents, and fans of our sport. The Olympic Trials will be a swim meet unlike any other, and we are so grateful for this critical support."

“I would like to thank OneAmerica Financial and Indiana University Health for becoming the first Centennial Partners of USA Swimming for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming,” said Indiana Sports Corp President Patrick Talty. “Both organizations have long supported our mission at Indiana Sports Corp and the sport of swimming. Their support will be crucial in accomplishing our goal of hosting a unique, one-of-a-kind event that will leave a lasting impact on our community.”

IU Health will provide on-site medical operations and help fund legacy projects for learn to swim efforts around Indiana. OneAmerica Financial is also funding learn to swim efforts, and owns presenting rights to the USA Swimming House, a bespoke area built as hospitality space for local businesses, donors, and athletes to network and celebrate.

“OneAmerica Financial is proud to partner with USA Swimming to further strengthen communities, teach more people to swim and save lives,” said Scott Davison, Chairman, President and CEO of OneAmerica Financial and co-chair for the local organizing committee of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming. “USA Swimming builds world-class teams into champions. OneAmerica Financial helps people champion their financial futures. This partnership is a natural fit, and we are thrilled to have IU Health join us in welcoming the Olympic Trials to our home community of Indianapolis.”

“IU Health is proud to partner with USA Swimming to ensure the safety of athletes and fans alike as they attend the Olympic Trials in Indianapolis,” said Dr. Kevin Gebke, Sr. Vice President of Community Medicine at IU Health. “Consistent with our commitment to make Indiana one of the nation’s healthiest states, we are excited to support learn to swim efforts statewide following the trials in an effort to reduce the risk of drownings and encourage physical fitness through water sports.”

All Centennial Partners receive consideration with ticketing, hospitality, and brand recognition for their contributions to learn to swim programs and the conduct of the Trials. Partnership opportunities are still available by contacting Mike Karnuta (mkarnuta@indianasportscorp.org) or Jim Fox (jfox@usaswimming.org).
